Treasurer Bob Coluzzi, was presented with a plaque which not acknowledged his hard work as treasurer, but all of his efforts of breathing new life into the old Mazda Mystic Ring and making it one of the premiere magic clubs in the Chicago area. Every member respects and appreciates your efforts, Bob.

Doc Morrisy reported that there will be a World War II re-enactment at Midway Village, Rockford, Illinois on September 26th and 27th. The prices are $8.00 for adults, and $4.00 for children. According to Doc, the re-enactment is one of the largest and best throughout the country and should not be missed.

After a short discussion, it was agreed that the Christmas party, Christmas time would have light refreshments such as hor dereurves and will be held at our meeting place “THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS HALL in Elgin. The "big" Christmas party in February will be held at The Golden Coral in Algonquin, IL, the same location on north Randall Rd as last year.

Our meeting in October will feature a lecture by magician/comedian Ken Mate. Ken will have a lot of different magic than he did at the SAM 148.

The business meeting was adjourned at 7:55 P.M.

At 8:00 P.M., member Frank Kay, presented his magic show to the members. Frank ably demonstrated all of his magical skills to the great delight of all present. Frank did a great job and we are all grateful.

And,  just as Frank was taking his well earned bows, the pizzas arrived, as if by "magic" and devoured with great gusto.

Don't forget, your attendance builds a really good club into a great club.

See you all at the October meeting.

Respectfully submitted,
